FLIR M500


The FLIR M500 refrigerated night vision camera is our most technologically advanced M series camera. Designed in low-temperature cooling medium wave infrared (MWIR) thermal sensor, it is excellent in short-range and ultra-long-range target detection and recognition. The M500 includes a cooled medium wave, high-resolution 640 x 512 pixel thermal imager with 1X to 14X continuous optical zoom and a field of view between 28° and 2°. It is also equipped with an integrated high-definition color visual camera system and spot beam LED target lighting system. M500 uses a rugged marine gimbal system, which is a pan and tilt camera with standard gyro stabilization, video tracking and radar integration.



Super short and long range vision

• Cooling heat core technology and continuous optical zoom enable early detection of ships or navigation equipment at long distances

• The active gyro stabilizes to form a stable image in the turbulent ocean, simplifying target recognition and enhancing situational awareness

• Advanced FLIR thermal technology allows the captain to quickly identify nearby buoys and detect key landmarks, such as islands or piers

• Video target tracking automatically locks M500 to moving or fixed targets

• Radar integration allows M500 to automatically track selected radar targets


Enhanced clarity

• High-performance thermal and visible camera payload for detection and visible recognition

• 14x optical thermal zoom and field of view between 2° and 28° can achieve long-distance target detection

• Use 30x zoom and 64° to 2.3°HFOV high-definition color visual camera to easily identify telephoto targets

• M500's integrated spotlight illuminates nearby targets with a powerful LED beam
